“Link Builders” and cold email
I see questions on this sub about cold email all the time. Wanted to give perspective as agency owner.
We get like 50 emails per day from “link builders” basically same PBN networks resold. We have zero interest in that and they all are going to spam.
On top of that I get people emailing, reaching out on LinkedIn with
- Guaranteed Leads, no interested we are niche agency. Also no offense but we know how to generate leads ourselves and the clients we are going after require a long sales process and approval from multiple departments. You META campaign or cold emails is not the touch point we need.
-Gazillion amour of vendors who “want to jump on a quick call” to show us their demo
-Agency partner programs.
The point of this rant is that you cold email doesn’t work, because we get hit with it all day every day and disregard it.
We are in marketing and sales ourselves, so when you approach us with spray and pray approach it doesn’t exactly create any sort of trust or interest.
Instead focus on developing real relationships. Don’t pitch 500 companies a day. Pick a 100 and work on them for a year. It will yield better results.
